ACI Sailing Center Cres
The ACI Sailing Centre Cres, a unique sailing project on the Adriatic, is founded this 2009 year aiming at offering to enthusiasts of the sea and the wind the opportunity to enjoy the beauty of sport and pleasure sailing.
There are more than 20 relevant programmes, professionally organized for different age groups – from the basic sailing school, teenagers' and marine biology programme to the adventure-loving programmes rich in mythology.
The team building programme intended for business companies is defined in close cooperation and according to the wishes of a particular client, while individual guests can take part in the daily sailing programmes of the Sunset, Full moon and Sunrise type. They are also offered the possibility of enjoying in the daily sailing in the local waters of the island of Cres.
Apart from learning how to sail, the programme includes a variety of attractive tourist programmes exploring the archipelago of Cres and Lošinj, rich in a unique flora and fauna, as well as its long history and the natural beauties the archipelago is plenty of.
All sailing programmes are performed on a fleet of 12 equal type Jeanneau One Design 35 (JOD 35) sailing boats as the top world known skippers Russel Couts, Dean Baker, Chris Dickson, Bertrand Pace, Paolo Cian and many others, have been sailing on so far in the ACI Match Race Cups.
The ACI Sailing Centre is located within the ACI Marina Cres, in a newly refurbished building with a reception, classroom, assembly-room and race office.
